I am glad to write this message for Dr. A. Q Khan Centre, Institute of Behavioral Sciences a constituent part of Dow University of Health Sciences. The institute was established in 1998, with the vision to come up as a State of the Art Research, Teaching, Training and Development Organization in the field of Mental Health.
Taking charge of such an institute is a great responsibility of assuring quality delivery of services and education at all levels of the institution. It’s only possible with the dedicated team of board, faculty members, clinical/medical team and support staff of this constituent institute. By the grace of God, Dow University of Health Sciences has emerged as the fastest growing institute offering quality medical education in South Asia.
I am optimistic that this institute will serve the humanity through continuous improvement, innovation, scientific and entrepreneur skills in their respective domain within Pakistan and internationally.

Behavioral Sciences, as a profession, encompass various disciplines propagating towards the understanding of actions and behavior of human beings relating to the society and the mental healthcare for patients.
Dr. A. Q. Khan Centre, Institute of Behavioral Sciences D.U.H.S, since its establishment, is serving the ailing humanity through their skilled Professionals, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics.
This institution provides teaching and training along with fundamental research and innovations regarding critical human behavioral issues from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
This institute gives away out-patient services in consultation with experienced Psychiatrists and psychologists while the in-patient department is well equipped with latest and modern technology, fully furnished VIP rooms, private, semi-private and general ward rooms.

Message by Executive Director of the Institution
Dr. A. Q. Khan Centre, Institute of Behavioral Sciences (D.U.H.S) is among one of those institutes in Pakistan that provide multidisciplinary care to the psychiatric patients with primary focus on their prescription, psychopathology and rehabilitation through continuous efforts for prevention and better management of psychiatric problems. IBS is not only focusing on the importance of mental health in maintaining the harmony of society but it is also providing an opportunity to all for their professional and intellectual growth.
IBS is committed to update about the knowledge related to mental health and spread awareness through broadcasting recent advancements related to mental health. This is for sure that our mission carries fruitful and valuable information not only for psychiatric professionals but also for general population.
